A call for pics: Not just for blogs anymore

his morning the Seattlest blog announced the creation of its new Flickr group pool, asking interested Flickrites to drop in photos of Seattle happenings and tag them "Seattlest," as many Flickr photographers had already been doing.

last week we launched the test version of myseattlepix.com, a social site that showcases the work of Seattle photographers and shares their photos with the P-I's online readers.

The site organizes member uploads by tags, topics and categories (scenic, places, animals, weather, activities and nightlife) and tracks the most viewed and most e-mailed photos, as well as the most popular photographers. (Read More)
